Anomaly Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Anomaly Vineyards is located at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains just west of the town of St Helena in California's Napa Valley. Anomaly is the smallest Winery in Napa Valley. Only 6 acres of vineyards are planted to the Bordeaux varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. They are specialized in the production of just one wine, the Anomaly Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon.

Owners Steve and Linda Goldfarb serve as stewards of the property, while relying on Winemaker Mark Porembski to frame the grace of the vineyard in each successive vintage. It is hard to believe that the 2010 Anomaly Vineyards Cabernet represents already the 11th vintage.
2010 growing season in the Napa Valley is recalled fondly as it was long and cool, allowing the grapes to ripen fully. Yields were very low, providing for dark, concentrated flavors. This vintage produced classic wines of structure and persistence—making all of us very happy.

2010 Anomaly Vineyards, Napa Valley Cabernet is made of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc
